Before the renovation, the bathroom felt crowded and tired, with dated small tiles, a narrow shower, oversized cabinetry, and little visual calm. The room had become purely practical, full of hard edges and competing details, rather than a space where the homeowners could properly relax and reset.

The new design focused on making the bathroom feel open, warm, and intentionally designed from every angle. A soft, natural palette replaced the old busy finishes, bringing a sense of quiet luxury to the space and making it feel lighter, cleaner, and far more welcoming.

The completed bathroom now feels like a private retreat rather than an everyday utility room. The twin basins and sculptural arched mirrors create a beautiful focal point, while the fluted timber vanity adds texture and warmth. What was once a cramped and dated bathroom has been transformed into a calm, refined sanctuary that feels special to walk into each day.

The transformation replaced the tired textiles with high durability, premium timber-look hybrid flooring. Each tread and riser was meticulously crafted to create crisp, clean geometric lines, featuring a beautifully mitred wrap-around border on the open-end landing steps. The rich wood grain adds natural warmth and a sense of luxury, reflecting the foyer’s overhead lighting and completely brightening the transition between floors. The result is a modern, low-maintenance architectural focal point that instantly grounds the home’s interior design.
